To some Batman is hero, the modern samurai and to others just a bloody psychopath barely on the side of good.
My first experience with Batman was in repeats of the 1960s live-action show: Bam, Pow, Zoom in all it’s technical glory. SO I admit I was not prepared of THE KILLING JOKE, but between Alan Moore’s storytelling and Brian Bolland’s art, I was engrossed and little terrorified. This joker was no harmless prankster. He was cruel, insane and completely mad, all the time daring you to look away!
